Kozhikode-based renewable energy company Eallisto Energies has partnered with four Kerala-based companies to implement rooftop solar power projects across industrial, commercial and food processing facilities.
The projects, being developed with Brocade India Polytex, HiLITE Business Park, HiLITE Boulevard and Camerry Ice Creams, are expected to generate around 40 lakh units of solar electricity annually after completion.
As part of the collaboration, Brocade India Polytex will install rooftop solar systems at its manufacturing facility in Palakkad. HiLITE Group’s commercial properties, including HiLITE Business Park and HiLITE Boulevard, will adopt solar solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce dependence on conventional power sources.
Camerry Ice Creams, which operates in a sector with high electricity requirements due to refrigeration and manufacturing needs, will also integrate rooftop solar power into its operations.
Businesses in Kerala are increasingly adopting renewable energy solutions to manage energy costs and meet sustainability targets. Rooftop solar installations are gaining traction among commercial and industrial establishments due to their long-term cost benefits and environmental advantages.
“Businesses are increasingly focusing on sustainability. Through reliable clean energy solutions, we aim to support companies in reducing their carbon footprint while improving energy efficiency,” said Shahad Bangla, managing director, Eallisto Group.
