The Indian Ad Film Makers Association (I AM) has launched a website to bring advertising film professionals under one platform. The website www.iamtalentbank.com was inaugurated on August 26 at a function held at Holiday Inn, Ernakulam.
The platform was jointly launched by cinematographer and advertising filmmaker Rajiv Menon, patron of I AM, and Kerala Advertising Agencies Association state president Raju Menon. I AM president and AMMA executive member Sijoy Varghese presided over the event. Model Rithu Manthra received the first membership in the model category
According to I AM general secretary Arun Raj Kartha, the website is aimed at actors, technicians, production support teams and other professionals in the ad film and cinema sector, as well as those seeking entry into the industry. I AM president Sijoy Varghese stated that the initiative intends to create opportunities for aspiring actors and models without exploitation.
The launch was organised alongside the association’s annual general body. An expert talk by Rajiv Menon and a discussion with ex officio member Jabbar Kallarakal provided insights into the Indian advertising film industry.
Vice president Deepu Anthikkad, joint secretaries Kumar Neelakandan and Harris Mannancheril, treasurer Anil James, along with advertising film producers, technicians and students of advertising, cinema and media studies, participated in the event.
