JMJ Fintech MD raises stake with purchase of 3.50 lakh additional shares

Joju Madathumpadi Johny, managing director and promoter group member of BSE-listed JMJ Fintech Ltd, has increased his stake in the company by acquiring 3,50,500 equity shares through an open market transaction.

The share purchase was carried out on September 24. According to the regulatory disclosure submitted to the stock exchanges, the shares were acquired at an average price of ₹9.60 per share, taking the total transaction value to approximately ₹33.57 lakh.

Coimbatore-based JMJ Fintech Ltd is a non-banking financial company (NBFC) involved in financial services activities, including corporate lending, funding solutions for small and medium enterprises, and other related services.

Following the acquisition, Joju Madathumpadi Johny’s individual shareholding in JMJ Fintech has increased to 1.04 per cent from 0.10 per cent earlier.

The increase in stake by a promoter group member comes amid the company’s continued focus on expanding its presence in the financial services sector.
