Lights, camera, Kerala! The ad couple making waves nationally

With oats, you can make dosa and puttu, or upma, payasam, and yes – even vada! But it was only during the last Onam season that Malayalis truly became familiar with this versatility. Credit for that goes to an advertisement by one of the country’s leading oats brands – a campaign that struck a direct chord with consumers.

And then there’s Dhyan Sreenivasan – a popular Malayalam actor fondly known as the “interview star”. Ask anyone if there’s a person he hasn’t interviewed, and the likely answer would be: Dhyan Sreenivasan himself!

But that changed last Onam. A major food delivery platform featured Dhyan in a double role, interviewing himself – a concept that caught fire on social media and earned widespread attention. That ad was produced by AdsFloWorldwide, led creatively by Sreedev Chandrabhanu and Sreedevi Jayaram.

Interestingly, the common thread between these standout campaigns is the Malayali duo, Sreedev Chandrabhanu and Sreedevi Jayaram. Together, they founded AdsFloWorldwide (initially in 2017, formalised in 2018), setting themselves apart with fresh storytelling and creative formats.

Their signature project—Swiggy’s Onam film featuring Dhyan—demonstrated just how engaging their approach could be. They’ve also worked on high‑profile campaigns for brands like NTC Finance (with Shobana), Kalyan Jewellers (with Kalyani Priyadarshan), Al Taza, Joy Ice Cream, among many.

A passion that began at sixteen

Sreedev’s journey into the world of advertising began while he was still in higher secondary school, designing campaigns and promotional material for a few firms in Kannur. During this time, he also had the opportunity to attend a workshop led by Prakash Varma and Sneha Iype of Nirvana Films — a turning point, he recalls, that shaped his future in the creative field.

“In 2009, I worked as an assistant director with Prakash Varma on Kerala Tourism’s iconic campaign ‘Your moment is waiting’,” says Sreedev. This experience led to a deeper association with Nirvana Films, where he spent nearly four and a half years working on numerous projects. Throughout that period, he also continued doing freelance advertising work under his own banner.

From corporate films to digital content

AdsFloWorldwide primarily focuses on television commercials, social media ads, corporate videos, product films, creative direction, concept development, influencer marketing, and photoshoots. The team is also actively involved in producing everyday digital content for a variety of brands — content that seamlessly integrates into users’ feeds without feeling like traditional advertising.

From the very beginning, the company has also been involved in producing corporate films for leading healthcare institutions such as VPS Healthcare, Aster Medcity, and KIMS Cancer Centre. AdsFloWorldwide is also behind the corporate videos and product films of South Indian Bank and V-Guard.

The agency's client list includes several national brands such as Asian Paints and Marico (Saffola Oats), along with East Tea, Sunidra Mattress, Mellow Soap, Joy Ice Cream, RACE, Tasty Nibbles, Willywhite toothpaste, Rebond, Everlast, Wallmax, Star Pipes, and NTC Finance, among many others. AdsFloWorldwide has also delivered ad films for international clients.

Within a short span of time, AdsFloWorldwide has also emerged as a favourite among celebrities. A long list of national and international stars and models have featured in their campaigns — including Anurag Kashyap, Shobana, Asif Ali, Bhavana, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Ramesh Pisharody, and Indrans.

Streamlined workflow and strong team

Every project undertaken by AdsFloWorldwide is executed within the client’s budget and delivered on time. “Celebrities usually allot a maximum of eight hours for a shoot. No matter how limited that time may be, our policy is to make the most of it and deliver maximum value for the brand,” says Sreedevi.

“Once a shoot begins, we strictly follow the schedule. Every scene is storyboarded in advance, leaving no room for ambiguity.”

Timely delivery is crucial for brands to execute their marketing plans effectively. AdsFloWorldwide ensures there are no delays from their side. For each project, they bring together the most suitable team – from camera crew and costume designers to art directors. In some large-scale productions, the team can grow to include anywhere between 150 to 250 people.

“We’ve built a robust network of professionals to handle such scale. In addition, we have a dedicated in-house team of 20 full-time employees,” says Sreedevi.
