The city is gearing up to host ClaySys KMAC 2026, the third annual management convention of the Kerala Management Association (KMA). The two-day prestigious event will be held on January 15-16 at the Lulu Bolgatty International Convention Centre, Kochi.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the convention on January 15. This year's theme is 'Transforming for Impact,' KMA president K. Harikumar and KMAC chair Algiers Khalid told mediapersons on Tuesday.
The convention aims to strengthen the management landscape of Kerala and will witness the participation of over 1,000 delegates.
Keynote address: V. Anantha Nageswaran, chief economic adviser to the Government of India.
Guest of honour: Kumares C. Misra, former UN deputy secretary-general.
The event features a stellar lineup of over 50 speakers from India and abroad, spread across 11 sessions covering various facets of business and leadership.
A major highlight of the event is the session to honour 'Transformation Icons of Kerala.' The leaders being honoured include:
George Alexander Muthoot (Muthoot Finance); CJ George (Geojit); Madhu S Nair (Cochin Shipyard); and, MP Ahammed (Malabar Group). A high-level roundtable discussion featuring these icons will be moderated by Venugopal C. Govind.
A dedicated discussion on "KMA’s Role in the Transformation of Kerala’s Management Landscape" will be moderated by Sunil Zacharia, featuring CIAL MD S. Suhas, Prasad K. Panicker, Dinesh Thambi, and K. Harikumar.
Other prominent speakers across various sessions include Nirupama Rao, Anand Kulkarni, Dr. Pramod Varma, Navas Meeran, Raj Raghavan, and several other industry experts.
Parallel to the main event, the 'Young Minds Summit' for young managers and entrepreneurs will commence at 9:30 am on January 15. It will be inaugurated by Tom Jose, with Sarathbabu Elumalai as the chief guest and Hele Harrison delivering the keynote.
