South India’s largest banking and investment summit kicks off at Kochi Le Meridien Convention Centre. The 8th BFSI Summit, hosted by Dhanam Business Media, was inaugurated by Sundararaman Ramamurthy, MD & CEO of BSE.
The summit, which runs from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM, will feature over 20 prominent speakers from national and international platforms. Around 500 representatives from across the country are attending the event, including the prestigious awards night.
Panel discussions will also be held in conjunction with the summit, focusing on topics such as the future of banking, investment strategies in an environment of volatility, how non-banking financial institutions are redefining the lending sector, and the changes technology is bringing to the BFSI sector.
At the awards night, which is part of the summit, former Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Rajeshwar Rao, will be the chief guest. He will present the Dhanam BFSI Awards to the institutions that have demonstrated outstanding performance in the banking, NBFC, and insurance sectors in the last financial year.
Another highlight of the awards night will be the fireside chat with George Alexander Muthoot, managing director of Muthoot Finance.
The summit will feature a diverse lineup of distinguished speakers from across the banking, finance, and investment sectors. Among them are M. N. Srinivasu, co-founder of BillDesk, and V. P. Nandakumar, managing director of Manappuram Finance. Salee S. Nair, managing director & CEO of Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank, and Vimala Vijaya Bhaskar, chairperson of Kerala Gramin Bank, will also share their insights. Other notable speakers include Dr. K.
