With 1 lakh-crore business, KSFE becomes India's top MNBC

From ₹50,000 crore to ₹1 lakh crore in just four years

The Kerala State Financial Enterprises (KSFE) has become the first miscellaneous non-banking company (MNBC) in India to record a business turnover of ₹1 lakh-crore.

The Kerala government-run company said it reached the milestone in record time, doubling its business from ₹50,000 crore in just four years.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate celebrations to mark the achievement at Central Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram, on August 13.

Finance Minister K N Balagopal will chair the event, which will also see the launch of the “KSFE Onam Samriddhi Gift Card” by Food and Civil Supplies Minister G R Anil.

Actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, KSFE’s brand ambassador, will be the guest of honour.

Milestone comes with strong financials

KSFE Chairman K Varadarajan said that in the past four years, the company provided ₹504 crore in financial assistance through interest waivers, contributed ₹920 crore to the state government, and has around ₹8,925 crore in fixed deposits in the state treasury.

Managing Director S K Sanil said the company posted a profit of ₹512 crore in 2024–25, adding that KSFE remains a consistently profitable public sector enterprise.
