Around 1,000 students from across South India are expected to participate in Yi Kochi Inspiration Summit Amplified 2026, a two-day youth-focused event to be held in Kochi on September 5 and 6.
Organised by Young Indians (Yi), the youth wing of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the event will feature programmes designed to expose school and college students to new ideas, career opportunities and emerging fields.
The two-day programme will bring together three key initiatives — Inspiration Summit, the national-level Yi Yuva Future and Prism for school students.
The event will be inaugurated by MP Haris Beeran at 11 am on September 5 at SH School, Thevara. TJ Vinod MLA and CII Kerala chairman Joseph M Kallivayalil will attend the inaugural ceremony.
Yi Kochi chairperson Ashika Jain and co-chairperson Deepu Xavier said students from 11 cities across India will participate in Yi Yuva Future, making it a national-level platform for young talent.
Speakers from business, education, public service and social sectors will engage with students during the summit.

Sessions will also focus on issues including climate change, accessibility, health and road safety. Dr P.G. Paul, Dr George Paul, Loknath Behera, Biju Isaac, Theertha Avinash and Lakshmi N. Menon will lead discussions on these themes.
Yi Yuva Future 6.0 will provide a platform for young talents to present their ideas.

Kalaripayattu sessions
Robotics workshops
Interactive exhibitions
Practical activities
A job fair organised in association with One Million for One Billion (1M1B) will also be among the major attractions.
