The Indian stock market remains closed on March 26, Thursday, on account of Ram Navami, marking the second trading holiday this month.
Both the BSE and the NSE are shut across segments, including equities, equity derivatives, currency derivatives, NDS-RST and tri-party repo.
Trading will resume on March 27, Friday.
Commodity markets follow a split schedule. The MCX has suspended trading in the morning session, with activity set to resume at 5 pm in the evening session.

In the previous session, on Wednesday, Indian equities extended gains amid improving global sentiment linked to easing geopolitical concerns.
The Sensex surged 1,205 points, or 1.63 percent, to close at 75,273.45, while the Nifty 50 advanced 394 points, or 1.72 percent, to settle at 23,306.45.
