The Association of Independent Financial Associates (AIFA) hosted its annual flagship event, AIFA Ignite 2025, at the Zamra Convention Centre, Kalamassery, from November 7 to 9, bringing together fund houses, wealth managers and financial distributors from across India.
The event opened with remarks from George Jacob, general secretary of AIFA, and Jagadeesh R Pai, president of AIFA. Over three days, discussions centred around how India’s growing investor base, regulatory changes, and digital transformation are reshaping the financial advisory landscape.
Speakers from major fund houses — including ICICI Prudential, Motilal Oswal, WhiteOak Capital, and Quant Mutual Fund — addressed topics ranging from asset allocation and investor psychology to emerging market trends and the impact of artificial intelligence on investment decisions.
The event concluded with the AIFA Annual General Meeting, where Philip Cherian was elected state president for 2025–2027.
