EY opens fourth office in Kochi: What it means for Kerala's workforce

Ernst & Young Global Delivery Services (EY GDS), a global network within Ernst & Young (EY) that provides integrated services to support EY’s client-facing teams, has expanded its operations in Kochi with the inauguration of a new office at Prestige Cyber Green. This marks the fourth EY GDS facility in the city.

EY GDS's other three offices in Kerala are strategically located in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.

The launch event saw participation from several notable figures, including Kerala’s Minister for Industries, Law, and Coir, P Rajeev, and Ajay Anand, global vice chair of EY GDS. 

Kerala's growth 

A key highlight of the event was the panel discussion on “Leveraging Kerala for GCC’s Growth and Scale,” where industry leaders explored the state’s potential in supporting innovation and growth. EY GDS also shared updates on its community initiatives, including the Career Reinstate Program and Next-Gen Employability Program, which aim to enhance career opportunities in the region.

Minister P Rajeev welcomed the move, expressing hope that EY GDS’s growing presence would help Kerala’s digital transformation and reinforce its reputation as a hub for innovation and talent.

What to offer?

The new facility is designed to accommodate the growing number of EY GDS professionals across various service lines. It is equipped with modern amenities to support the team’s efforts in delivering solutions to clients across industries. The company currently employs over 10,000 individuals in Kerala, with most based in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, and plans to double its workforce in the state over the next few years.
