Revenue at Lulu Group’s Gulf operations rose to ₹36,000 crore in the first half of 2025, with net profit climbing 9.9% year-on-year to ₹1,200 crore. The retail conglomerate, headed by MA Yusuff Ali, reported that both sales and earnings outpaced last year’s first-half performance.

The big numbers

The biggest push came from e-commerce and private label products. Lulu’s private label range brought in ₹5,037 crore, up 3.5%, making up 29.7% of retail revenue.

E-commerce sales shot up by 43.4% to ₹952 crore, strengthening its share in the overall business mix.

In the UAE, Lulu’s largest Gulf market, revenue was up 9.4%, while Saudi Arabia grew by 3.8% and Kuwait by 4.9%. The growth trend has been supported by a mix of store openings and online expansion.

Dividend and store network expansion

The company announced a dividend of ₹867 crore for investors — more than 78% of its distributable profit for the first half. Seven new stores opened in the first six months of the year, followed by another four in July, taking the total to 11 so far.

Lulu plans to add nine more before the year ends, signalling a steady push in retail presence across the region.

Loyalty programme gets a boost

The Lulu Happiness loyalty programme added one million new members during the period, taking total membership to 7.3 million.

The company says it is looking to enhance customer engagement by expanding e-commerce platforms and keeping loyalty initiatives active and appealing.
