Years ago, I read about a new restaurant that opened in Japan, next to many business and office complexes.
This restaurant was quite unique because after eating, one could throw away all the tableware used for eating food.
When I read this, I wondered what the appeal of such a thing could be.
By nature, the Japanese are punctual, and uncompromising in their work.
So, many people work under severe mental stress in their institutions and offices.
After doing busy and stressful work, those who throw off the dishes after eating at this restaurant felt less stressed.
In several new-generation companies, many facilities are there to help the employees take a break between work and refresh the mind.
Some of these facilities include the gymnasium, shower room, games room etc.
The culture of an organization and the environment of the workplace have the greatest impact on the mental state of the people working there.
And we tend to treat natural minor failures and deficiencies as major problems.
Likewise, it is often appropriate to work with unnecessary haste and pressure.
Moreover, an employee or a group of employees may be experiencing high psychological pressure due to various personal, social, and financial reasons.
Whatever the reasons, it cannot be denied that when working under pressure, the efficiency of the employees and the final outcomes of the work are poor.
So, the goal of any entrepreneur must be to minimize unnecessary work-related stress in his organization.
