A unique blend of the world's best shopping, dining and entertainment experiences awaits visitors as Dubai’s iconic Global Village opens its doors for Season 29 in just four days.

Global Village Season 29 that opens on October 16 promises a host of new attractions, including a revamped Restaurant Plaza and additional cultural pavilions.

The organisers claim this year’s event will be more thrilling for the visitors, compared to the previous editions.

James Robert Curtis, the United Kingdom’s leading fly boarder is taking part in the under-water stunt this time, along with Chase Testa, the well-known high diver.  

Some of the diverse activities planned this year include jet ski fire-jumps, gravity-defying double fly-board action stunts and a 75-feet high dive tower.

A global marketplace

With over 3,500 shopping outlets, Global Village displays a diverse range of products, crafts, and cuisines from 80 countries.

More than 26 pavilions will exhibit food, shopping, products, and attractions from all the 80 participating countries.

The Railway Market, the enchanting Floating Market, and the lively Fiesta Street, have all been redesigned for a captivating new atmosphere.

The Incredible India pavilion is the largest among the lot, spread across 11,000 square meters. Herbal products, spices, tea, Jewellery, and textile top the list of Indian products, along with mouth-watering dishes from the Chaat Bazaar.

Culinary delights

For the food lovers, a variety of international cuisines are on the platter at the new Restaurant Plaza that features 11 two-story restaurants.

A bouquet of dishes from the traditional Emirati to global street food will also be available to cater to the tastebuds of each visitor.

Fun for families

The Global Village has entertainment avenues for everyone from a family. Thrilling rides, interactive exhibits, and cultural performances are some of the top draws at the Carnaval fun-fair.

Convenient access

Getting to the Global Village is getting easy as a new bus service from Ajman will launch on October 16, providing convenient transportation for visitors.

For weekdays, the entry ticket is priced at AED 25 per person. It is valid from Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays. Any day entry ticket costs AED 30 per person.

Free tickets are available for children aged 3 and below, seniors above 65 and those who are physically challenged.

Opening hours: Sunday to Wednesday 4:00 pm - 12:00 am and Thursday to Saturday 4:00 pm - 01:00 am.

Except for those falling on a public holiday, Tuesdays are reserved for families, couples, and women.
