The Nifty concluded Thursday's session with a 0.56% decline, settling at 24,205, while the Sensex dropped by 0.70% to finish at 79,386.

Though, technically, momentum indicators suggest a positive trend, with the index trading above its short-term moving averages.

The Nifty ended the trading session with a 0.48% dip at 24,349, while the Sensex closed with a drop of 0.51% at 79,958.

The Nifty ended Tuesday's session with a 0.52% jump at 24,466, while the Sensex ended trade with a gain of 0.45% at 80,368; both midcap and smallcap indices experienced a strong rebound.

The Nifty ended trading at 24,180.8, an increase of 0.65%; the Sensex closed at 79,402.29, which represents a gain of 0.76%.

The Sensex ended 663 points, or 0.83 percent lower, at 79,402, dropping below the 80,000 mark; the Nifty fell 218.60 points, or 0.9 percent, to settle at 24,180.80.
