Bhima Jewellery, a jewellery brand with a legacy spanning more than a century, has received accreditation from the Indian Association for Gold Excellence and Standards (IAGES) for its MG Road showroom in Thiruvananthapuram.

The accreditation was granted following an independent assessment of the showroom's compliance with the IAGES Code of Conduct, which focuses on gold purity, transparent pricing, ethical sourcing and customer service.

Suhas MS, managing director of Bhima Jewellery, received the certificate of accreditation from Kaushalendra Sinha, CEO of IAGES, at a ceremony attended by Raja Venkatesh, general manager, trade engagements (South), IAGES.

Focus on transparency and trust

IAGES is an industry initiative aimed at promoting higher standards of transparency, ethical business practices and consumer confidence in India's gold jewellery sector. Its accreditation programme recognises jewellers that comply with prescribed standards relating to product purity, pricing transparency, responsible sourcing and customer service.

Suhas MS said customer trust has remained the foundation of Bhima's business for more than a century, supported by its emphasis on gold purity and transparency in transactions. He added that the accreditation reflects the company's commitment to maintaining these standards and delivering reliable service to customers.
