UAE business leaders to attend Invest Kerala Global Summit
The UAE minister of economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, has confirmed his participation in the upcoming Invest Kerala Global Summit, an international investors’ conclave organised by the Kerala government. The minister will be a guest of honour at the event and will be leading a delegation of representatives from leading UAE 's business community.
Kerala Industries Minister P. Rajeeve had recently met Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri in Dubai. The meeting was also attended by prominent industrialist and Lulu Financial Holdings Managing Director Adeeb Ahamed, along with senior officials from Kerala’s industries department.
The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce has also pledged to send a high-level delegation to the summit. Rajeeve held discussions with officials from the chamber during his visit.
Dubai roadshow
The Dubai roadshow, organised as part of the summit’s promotional activities, saw significant participation from top UAE industrialists, trade organisations, and companies. Non-resident entrepreneurs also showed keen interest, with many taking part in both the roadshow and investor meetings. Rajeeve said the event had generated interest in Kerala as an investment destination.
UAE's minister of investment, Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, has announced plans to send a special delegation to the summit. The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce has also confirmed its involvement.
The Kerala delegation, which included Lulu Group's chairman, M.A. Yusuff Ali; the principal secretary for industries, A.P.A. Mohammed Hanish; and KSIDC managing director S. Harikishore, participated in various promotional events leading up to the summit.
This focused outreach highlights Kerala’s ambition to secure significant investments by fostering robust ties with the Arab business and trade community.
