Chackochen Mathai, a leading franchise management professional, was honoured with the Franchising Visionary award at the HR Conclave organised by Vanakkam HRD at the Chennai Trade Centre recently.
The honour recognised Mathai's contributions to the growth and professionalisation of India's franchising industry.
The award was presented by Ma Foi Pandiarajan, former Tamil Nadu minister and executive chairman of CIEL HR, along with Sriram Manoharan, founder and CEO of Contus Tech. The conclave was organised by Vanakkam HRD, founded by Rajeshwaran P and Bharathiraja Thangappalam.
The HR Conclave brought together HR professionals, business leaders and industry experts to discuss emerging trends in human resources, leadership and business development. The event also recognised individuals for their contributions across various sectors, including franchising.
