The Dhanam Business Media has honoured excellence in Kerala’s healthcare sector by presenting the Dhanam Healthcare Awards to leading hospitals and medical professionals from across the state. The awards were given to institutions and teams that have demonstrated exceptional service, modern facilities and compassionate care.
The awards were from two broad categories based on bed capacity — hospitals with up to 100 beds and those with more than 100 beds.
The honours were presented by Dr Girdhar Gyani, director general of the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) and member of the NABH board. The ceremony was also attended by leading figures from the healthcare and medical fraternity, including Dr Sachin Suresh, secretary of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Kochi; B G Menon, managing director of ACME Consulting; Dr Atul Joseph Manuel, president of IMA Kochi; and Dhanam editorial leadership including Kurian Abraham, chairperson and chief editor, and Maria Abraham, executive director.

• Best maternity & gynaecology hospital (up to 100 beds): Kasaragod Institute of Medical Sciences.
• Best maternity & gynaecology hospital (above 100 beds): Apollo Adlux Hospital, Angamaly.
• Best neurology hospital (up to 100 beds): Atreya Hospital, Thrissur.
• Best neurology hospital (above 100 beds): SUT Hospital, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram.
• Best nephrology & urology hospital (up to 100 beds): Malabar Multi Speciality Centre, Kozhikode.
• Best nephrology & urology hospital (above 100 beds): Medical Trust Hospital, Kochi.
• Best emergency & critical care hospital (up to 100 beds): Neyyar Medicity, Thiruvananthapuram.

• Best green & sustainable hospital: Mary Queen’s Mission Hospital, Kanjirappally.
• Best hospital to work in: Neyyar Medicity, Thiruvananthapuram.
The awards ceremony was held at IMA House in Kochi, bringing together healthcare leaders, practitioners and policy influencers to celebrate and spotlight the continued rise of quality healthcare delivery in Kerala.
