Saudi Arabia-based low-cost airline Flynas will launch direct services between Kochi and Riyadh from September 2, strengthening air connectivity between Keralam and Saudi Arabia.
The airline will operate three flights a week from Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The service will operate under flight numbers XY399 and XY400 using an Airbus A320 aircraft with a seating capacity of 174 passengers.
The Kochi–Riyadh flight will depart from CIAL at 8.50 am, while the return flight from Riyadh will arrive in Kochi at 8.05 am.
The new service will give passengers an additional airline option for travel between Kochi and the Saudi capital, while further expanding CIAL’s international network.
CIAL already has direct services to Saudi Arabia operated by Air India Express, Akasa Air and Saudia. These include connections to Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam.
The launch of Flynas services is expected to further strengthen CIAL’s connectivity with Saudi Arabia, a key international market for passengers travelling from Keralam.
