For countless children and their parents, the pressing dilemma remains the same — what to study, and who to become. The world is wide open — you can study almost anything, anywhere, and carve out a career for yourself. Yet, for many, the real challenge lies in identifying what truly suits them. This is where Masaco Global steps in, guiding each child towards a career by recognising their interests, selecting the most relevant courses with strong job prospects, and matching them with the right universities.
Founded in 2018, Masaco Global has been helping students turn their dreams of studying anywhere in the world into reality. “We are more than just a ‘study abroad’ option,” says Deepthi John Tharakan, Global Director at Masaco. “Our solutions make studying possible both within and outside India, anywhere in the world. Every child’s interests are unique, and today’s world offers a range of opportunities and courses. That’s why we focus on supporting students in choosing the best programmes and universities that align with their aspirations.”
Masaco Global offers a complete service, beginning with personalised counselling to clearly identify a student’s aptitudes and strengths. From there, the team works to map out a suitable career path, identify the right course and university, and even arrange the financial support needed to make those studies possible. “We always prioritise the student’s career above everything else. No other consideration comes into play,” explains Deepthi.
Deepthi’s story is shaped by her family’s long-standing roots abroad. Her father, Geevarghese John, has been a businessman in Muscat for over five decades. After completing her schooling there, she returned to Kerala, earning a degree in Physics from St Teresa’s College and later a master’s in Computer Science from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences.
Today, Masaco Global operates across three divisions in Kochi, Kottayam and Dubai. Alongside its flagship Study Anywhere service, the organisation runs an academy dedicated to teaching foreign languages such as German, Spanish and Japanese. “We provide training so students can handle any language, including English, with confidence,” explains Deepthi. The academy also offers TOEFL and IELTS coaching, essential for those planning to study abroad. “Foreign languages are a feather in the cap for anyone in any profession. Here, Japanese is taught by instructors from Tokyo,” she adds.
Masaco Global’s newest venture is its travel division, launched just a year ago. Operating under the name Merom Travel & Holidays, it offers curated journeys tailored to each individual. “Some people want to travel only with their immediate family. Others want to explore places off the beaten track with historical significance. And of course, every trip has to suit the traveller’s budget. We specifically design and provide such experiences,” Deepthi explains.
What truly sets Masaco Global apart is its dedicated team. The Students Welfare Division works tirelessly to ensure that students receive every kind of support they need. From preparing to go abroad right through to settling in, the division stands by them at every step. It also offers comprehensive travel solutions, making the transition smoother and stress-free. “I believe what really distinguishes Masaco is trust. The students and families who have chosen our services have stayed with us for years,” says Deepti.
