Tulåh Clinical Wellness has launched its flagship Tulåh Clinical Wellness Sanctuary, a centre for integrative healthcare that combines traditional healing systems with advanced clinical science, at Kakkancherry near Kozhikode.

Located in a village about 20 km from Calicut International Airport, Tulåh has been conceived as a clinical healing sanctuary that integrates ayurveda, yoga, Vedanta, Tibetan medicine and traditional Chinese medicine with modern diagnostics, regenerative therapies and clinical care. Spread across 30 acres of medicinal gardens and rewilded forests, the centre offers personalised wellness programmes based on pre-arrival assessments and on-site diagnostics.

Customised healing

Tulåh said the initiative aims to create customised healing pathways focused on prevention, recovery, and long-term wellbeing.

The three-day launch event, held from May 1 to 3, brought together a number of business leaders, healthcare experts and cultural figures. Among those present were Sajjan Jindal and Sangita Jindal, designer Tarun Tahiliani, Nadir Godrej and Rati Godrej, cardiac surgeon Dr Naresh Trehan, Dr Amit Anand, Urvashi Khemka and Mariam Ram.

Space for restoration

Speaking at the event, Tulåh chairman Faizal E. Kottikollon said the sanctuary was designed not merely as a destination, but as a long-term space for restoration, reflection and community.

Aditi Premji, chairperson of the Wipro Foundation, said the project demonstrated the potential of combining ancient healing traditions with modern science in a setting that feels personal and welcoming.

Cultural performances during the evenings featured Kerala-based collectives Shanka Tribe, the Bonny Abraham Ensemble and Jupiter Springs, culminating in a performance by Grammy-recognised sitarist Asad Khan.
