10-year-old tech wizard to speak at Dhanam BFSI meet

Swayam Sodha, a young innovator from Mumbai, will be one of the special guests at the Banking, Finance, Insurance, and Investment (BFSI) Summit in Kochi on November 19. The event, organised by Dhanam Business Media, will be held at the Le Meridian. Swayam, who is currently studying in the 6th standard, has developed a smart glass technology that allows users to view the screens of mobile phones and laptops from a distance. He will speak at the summit about how this technology could impact the future of the BFSI sector.

Swayam’s interest in technology began at a young age, inspired by cartoons on TV. He has since gained recognition for his work in information technology, particularly in smart glasses. Despite his young age, Swayam has already attracted attention from industry professionals, including experts from companies like Microsoft and Apple.

Sixth standard student and a founder

Currently, Swayam is pursuing a diploma in data science and another in the Internet of Things (IoT), while also continuing his 6th standard studies online. Alongside his studies, he is working on the development of his smart glass technology. The smart glasses, he explains, can run software from smartphones, TVs, and laptops.

Swayam is the founder of Swayamzone Smart Wear Technologies, and his work has gained attention through his website, swayamezon.com, where he shares his projects and achievements. The site introduces him as a software engineer, data scientist, and innovator, among other roles. Swayam encourages his peers to consider entrepreneurship instead of traditional job-seeking paths.

At the BFSI Summit, Swayam will be joined by other national and international experts to discuss the role of emerging technologies in the financial sector.
