Aster DM Healthcare has announced the launch of the fifth edition of the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award, one of the most prestigious international recognitions for nursing excellence.
With a prize of $250,000, the award aims to honour the compassion, innovation and leadership of nurses, who continue to be the backbone of health systems worldwide.
The award is open to registered nurses across the world who have made outstanding contributions in fields such as patient care, nursing leadership, education, social or community service, and research, innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare. Applicants may select one primary and up to two secondary areas of contribution, highlighting the breadth of their efforts. Submissions for the 2026 edition can be made through www.asterguardians.com in multiple languages until 10 November 2025.
The evaluation process for the award is independently managed by Ernst & Young LLP (EY) and overseen by a distinguished Grand Jury composed of internationally renowned healthcare leaders. Following several stages of assessment, the top ten finalists will be announced before a high-profile awards ceremony in May 2026, coinciding with International Nurses Day.
