Audi India unveiled the new Audi Q8 in Mumbai on Thursday, expanding its Q-range and marking a milestone with 100,000 car sales in India since its entry into the market.
Priced at Rs 1.17crore (ex-showroom), the Q8 blends luxury, performance, and advanced technology, aimed at the discerning Indian luxury car buyer.

The new Audi Q8 is designed for those seeking a combination of luxury, sportiness, and advanced technology. Its bold and elegant exterior is paired with a high-tech, refined interior, making it a standout in the luxury SUV segment.
Exterior design
The Q8 features a distinctive single-frame grille with a vertical inlay droplet design, alongside a new air intake grille and spoiler, enhancing its dynamic look. The new two-dimensional Audi rings on the front and rear reflect the brand’s modern approach. A panoramic sunroof and frameless doors add to its sleek design.
The Q8 comes in eight exterior colours, including the new Sakhir Gold, along with Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Vicuna Beige. The newly designed R21 graphite grey alloy wheels and red brake calipers contribute to its sporty appeal.
Interior and technology
Inside, the Audi Q8 offers an array of advanced technology, including a 360-degree surround view camera for enhanced safety and new Park Assist Plus for effortless parking. The cabin’s advanced aero-acoustics ensure a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
The Q8's infotainment system includes a dual-screen setup with a 25.65 cm primary display and a 21.84 cm secondary screen. The Audi Virtual Cockpit presents all essential driving information on a 31.24 cm digital display. Other premium features include a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system with 17 speakers, four-zone climate control, and electronically adjustable front seats with a memory function.
Customers can choose from four interior colour options: Okapi Brown, Saiga Beige, Black, and Pando Grey.
Drive and performance
The new Audi Q8 is powered by a 3.0L TFSI engine, delivering 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque, coupled with a 48V Mild Hybrid system for enhanced performance and efficiency. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. An eight-speed tiptronic transmission ensures smooth shifting, while quattro all-wheel drive provides excellent traction.
With Audi Drive Select, drivers can choose from six different driving modes, including a customisable ‘Individual’ mode. The Q8’s suspension system with damper control ensures a comfortable ride, while electromechanical power steering enhances driving dynamics.
Safety
Safety remains a priority, with features like Audi pre-sense basic, which initiates preventive measures during emergencies, and eight airbags. The Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP) further enhances vehicle control in challenging conditions.
