Reacting to the recognition, Thomas John Muthoot, chairman of Muthoot FinCorp, called the award a validation of their ongoing efforts to stay customer-focused and ethical in business. He also pointed to the company’s bigger plans—digital transformation, fintech investments, and a growing platform called Muthoot FinCorp ONE—as signals of where things are headed.
Meanwhile, CEO Shaji Varghese kept the message simple: it’s about staying committed to serving everyday financial needs in a way that’s accessible and honest.
While gold loans are its stronghold, the company seems keen on broadening its reach. With a growing presence in digital finance and services tailored for the underbanked, Muthoot FinCorp may be positioning itself as more than just a traditional NBFC.
