Herbal Isolates, part of the Synthite Group, has launched a new sub-brand called Savouron, bringing together its expanding range of flavour enhancers under a single identity. The move is seen as a way for the company to position itself more clearly in the global food ingredients space.
Herbal Isolates has long been recognised for its green pepper products and hydrolysed vegetable proteins (HVPs). With Savouron, the company is broadening that reputation by offering a portfolio that includes flavour enhancers, dairy and fat systems, and specialty powders.
The line-up covers HVP, flavoured HVP, yeast extracts, soya sauce powder, cheese and curd powders, non-dairy creamers, caramel powder, vinegar powder and other spray-dried ingredients. These are designed to help food makers meet consumer preferences for stronger flavours, cleaner labels, and functionality.
The launch comes against the backdrop of growing demand for convenient and flavour-rich products worldwide. Industry watchers expect the flavour enhancer segment to see strong growth, with companies like Herbal Isolates looking to secure a bigger role in that space.
Managing director Jacob Ninan said the aim of Savouron is to support food brands that want to create products balancing taste with clean-label requirements and consumer trust. He added that the brand reflects Herbal Isolates’ wider commitment to rethink taste for future foods.
Founded in 1984, Herbal Isolates has built a reputation for speciality ingredients in the food sector. As part of the larger Synthite Group, it has the processing capacity and infrastructure to support expansion. Industry observers note that the new sub-brand gives Herbal Isolates a clearer path to market its products internationally.
