Kerala Startup Mission's beachside meet to premier in Kovalam

Internationally known start-up founders, investors, mentors, industry leaders and bureaucrats will take part in the three-day event organised by the Kerala Startup Mission.

The Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate Huddle Global 2024 on November 28.

A global audience

Huddle Global 2024 offers an unparalleled stage for product launches, giving them the opportunity to captivate a global audience of industry leaders, media, investors, and potential customers.

This year's festival will feature exhibitions, roundtable discussions, investor meetups, workshops, and guidance sessions, along with cultural programs.

Last year, the startup meet was held at Adimalathura in Thiruvananthapuram.

Huddle is the focal point for tech start-ups and other relevant stakeholders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem including the government, investors, mentors, industry, etc.

A galaxy of speakers

Prominent speakers from the government sector include Dr S Somanath, Chairman, ISRO; S D Shibulal, Co-founder - Infosys; and Dr. Rathan.U. Kelkar, Secretary (Electronics & IT), Government of Kerala.

Government representatives from Switzerland, Finland, Australia, UK, and Austria will also speak at the event.

At least 84 industry representatives are participating in the event.

Prominent industry representatives include historian and broadcaster William Dalrymple, Dr Ajai Chowdhry, Cofounder HCL; Sridhar Vembu, Founder & CEO, Zoho Corporation; Siva Kumar Padmanabhan, and MD & Head of Global Innovation & Technology Center, AstraZeneca and Priyanka GillVenture partner, Kalaari Capital.

Among the 28 investors taking part, some of the well-known faces are: Berthold Baurek-Karlic, CEO, Venionaire Capital AG; Bala Srinivasa, Managing Director, Arkam Ventures; Naveen Unni, Managing partner, TVS Capital Funds; and Takahisa Ohira, Head of Asia, Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support.

A group of 40 mentors, including Anil Joshi, Managing Partner, Unicorn India Ventures; Dr. Yasar Khuthub, Director, Scale Up Capital; Srihari K, Business Head, Saint-Gobain India and Santhosh Melekalathil, Investor, Malabar Angels Network are taking part in Huddle Global 2024.

Huddle is envisaged in a way that it offers a platform for startups to display their products and interact with a clutch of technology and industry leaders on ways to move ahead in the tech world.
