Artificial intelligence (AI) is set to bring significant changes to healthcare. From disease diagnosis to drug discovery and patient care, experts believe AI will reshape the industry.
According to a report by the World Economic Forum, around 450 million people worldwide lack access to basic healthcare, and AI could help bridge this gap. However, compared to other industries, AI adoption in healthcare remains relatively low.
To explore these developments, the Dhanam Healthcare Summit & Awards Night 2025 will take place on 8 March at Le Meridien, Kochi. The event will feature discussions on AI-driven transformations in healthcare, led by industry experts.
One of the key sessions will be led by Dr. Sumanth Raman, founder of Algorithm Health. His company has developed AI-powered applications to improve disease diagnosis and reduce medical errors.
With over 24 years of experience in IT and healthcare, Dr. Raman has overseen multiple health IT projects in India. He holds an MD in General Medicine and a Diploma in Computer Applications. His session will focus on how AI is changing healthcare and what to expect in the near future.
Another session, led by experts from ThinkBio.Ai, will discuss AI’s role in patient care, diagnosis, and digital health services. ThinkBio.Ai is a healthcare technology company founded by Pradeep Palazhi, Sam Santhosh, and Dan Peterson. Their session will focus on how AI is already being used in pharmaceuticals and digital health and what potential it holds for the future.
