Cochin International Aviation Services Limited (CIASL) has partnered with the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) to accredit its aviation courses.
As part of this agreement, CIAL Academy will now be recognised as an accredited institution of CUSAT. This accreditation ensures that students trained at the academy will receive official recognition for various aviation-related courses, with CUSAT overseeing the examination process and training standards.
This new collaboration was formalised with a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed at a ceremony at Cochin airport recently. The event was attended by Kerala Industries Minister P. Rajeeve, CIASL Chairman S. Suhas, who is also the CIAL Managing Director, and CUSAT Vice-Chancellor P.G. Sankaran. The MoU was signed by CUSAT Registrar V Sivanandan Achari and CIASL Academy Managing Director Santhosh J. Poovattil, with Benny Behanan MP and the MLAs, Roji M. John and Anwar Sadath.
