In a big boost to domestic cricket, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announced prize money for Player of the Match and tournament awards in women's and junior cricket tournaments and senior men's Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali tournaments.

Jay Shah is reportedly set to succeed Greg Barclay as ICC chairman, with Barclay confirming he will not seek a third term. His tenure concludes on November 30, according to an NDTV report.
