NPCI revises the limit to Rs 5 lakh for payments of tax, hospitals & educational services and payment for IPO and G-Secs. Starting Sept ember 15, you will be able to transfer Rs 5 lakh in a single UPI transaction for these categories.

Talks are ongoing with several countries to extend UPI's reach through QR codes and fast payment system linkages.

To recover funds sent to the wrong UPI ID, contact your bank or UPI provider immediately with transaction details. Act quickly if you find yourself in this situation.
